ModKor Product Labels for Magento 2 & Hyva

1. What it does

ModKor Product Labels adds eye-catching, animated badges and stickers to your products and places them automatically with flexible conditions — across the product, category, search, home, cart, mini-cart and checkout pages. You design each look once on a live product preview, tick the pages to show it on, and save. It is Hyvä-native and needs no theme template overrides.

3. Installation

The module installs inert — labels stay off until you switch it on in Settings, so installing it can't change your storefront. Optional: composer require modkor/module-product-labels-graphql for headless / PWA.

4. Quick start (90 seconds)

1. Open Catalog → Product Labels and click + New label.
2. Name it, then under Show on pages tick where it should appear (or All pages).
3. Under Apply to, choose All products, specific SKUs, a category, or advanced conditions.
4. In Design, set the text (e.g. SALE or {SAVE_PERCENT} OFF), colour, position and an animation effect — the live product preview updates as you type.
5. Click Save label. In Settings, switch Enable Product Labels on. Reindex & flush.

Labels

Your labels at a glance — status, placements and effect. Click one to edit, or start a new one.

Show on pages & designs

Tick the placements (product, category, search, home, cart, mini-cart, checkout). Each maps to one of three reusable designs: Product page, Listing card (category/search/home), and Cart & checkout. Design each once.

Gallery

A pack of ready-made animated labels — SALE, -50%, NEW, HOT, FREE SHIP, BESTSELLER and more. Click one to start a label from it.

Settings

Enable the module, set container selectors, max labels & stacking, the On-Sale/Is-New rules, and the Respect Reduced Motion accessibility toggle — per store view.

6. Dynamic text variables

Use these anywhere in a label's text: {SAVE_PERCENT}, {SAVE_AMOUNT}, {PRICE}, {SPECIAL_PRICE}, {NEW_FOR}, {SKU}, {ATTR:code} (any attribute), {BR} (line break), and {COUNTDOWN} — a live ticking timer to the label's "Show to" date.

7. Conditions

Choose All products, Specific SKUs, A category, or Advanced conditions (attribute / operator / value, matched by ALL or ANY). To use a product attribute in Advanced, enable Use for Promo Rule Conditions on it (Stores → Attributes → Product). Matching is indexed by modkor_productlabels_label; set it to Update-by-Schedule so product changes are picked up.

Resolve labels by product IDs or category, in PRODUCT / CATEGORY / CART mode, with the animation effect exposed — reusing the same engine the storefront uses.
