Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 11, 2026 Last updated: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Crestora Property Group LLC, operating the Modkor brand ("Crestora Property Group", "Modkor", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit www.modkor.com (the "Site"), purchase or use our products and services, or otherwise interact with us. It also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them.
We are the controller of personal information processed about visitors and customers of the Site. Where we process personal data on behalf of a customer (for example, data within a customer's Magento store), we act as a processor, governed by our Data Processing Agreement.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide:
- Account and order data — name, email address, billing details, company name, country, the domain(s) you license, and the Composer access keys and license keys issued to your customer-portal account, when you register, purchase, or request a quote.
- Support and communications — the contents of your messages, tickets, and any environment details, logs, or files you send us for support.
- Marketing preferences — your subscription choices for newsletters or product updates.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected via logs and cookies/similar technologies (see the Cookie Policy).
- Download and license data — when you install or update Products via our private Composer repository, our servers log access using your Composer access keys (including IP address, package, version, and timestamp) to deliver downloads, enforce entitlements, and prevent abuse. The runtime license check in the Software validates the domain-bound key locally on your server using the public key we ship and is not designed to transmit data to us.
Payment information: Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers; the processor handles that data under its own privacy terms and security standards. We receive limited transaction details (such as confirmation, last four digits, and billing country).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16, and the Site is not directed to children.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- process and deliver orders, issue license keys, and provide downloads;
- provide technical support, updates, and customer service;
- operate, secure, and improve the Site, products, and services;
- validate licenses and prevent fraud, abuse, and license-key misuse;
- communicate with you about your account, purchases, and important notices;
- send marketing communications where permitted, from which you can opt out at any time;
- comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver products, licenses, and support); legitimate interests (to secure and improve our services, prevent fraud and license abuse, and conduct direct marketing to existing customers), balanced against your rights; consent (for certain cookies and marketing, which you may withdraw); and legal obligation (for tax and accounting).
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers/processors acting on our behalf — payment processing (Stripe), hosting and infrastructure, email and support tools, and analytics (Google Analytics) — under contracts that restrict their use of the data;
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) as needed;
- Authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, safety, or property; and
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or other regions, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) where required.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Site and services, maintain your account and licenses, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations (typically several years for transaction records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to processing (including direct marketing), and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and certain targeted advertising; we do not sell personal information. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, contact [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
8. Marketing choices
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us. Transactional and service messages (such as order confirmations, license/security notices) are not marketing and may still be sent.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and license keys confidential.
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites and services (for example Magento, Hyvä, or Stripe). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies separately.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version is posted on the Site with a new "Last updated" date and takes effect when posted. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
