ModKor Order Comments for Magento 2 & Hyva

Stop retyping the same order notes. ModKor Order Comments adds a one-click saved-comment picker right above every admin comment box — order, invoice, shipment and credit-memo — and fills in live order data as you go. Write once with placeholders like {{customer_name}}, {{order_increment}} and {{tracking_number}}, and each is replaced with the real value the moment you insert it. Comments insert at the cursor (never overwriting what you typed), can pre-tick Notify Customer / Visible on Storefront, and the order comment history is rendered as a clean, colour-coded table with an Updated By column. One click to a full, personalised order comment.

Support and fulfilment teams type the same order notes over and over. ModKor Order Comments turns them into reusable, one-click templates that appear right where you need them — above the comment box on the order, invoice, shipment and credit-memo screens — and fills in real order data automatically.

Saved comments, exactly where you work

  • A Insert a saved comment dropdown sits directly above the comment textarea on the order, invoice, shipment and credit-memo screens.
  • Pick one and the text drops straight into the box — no copy/paste, no leaving the page.
  • Scope each template to a comment type and to any set of store views, so agents only ever see the notes that make sense where they are.

Live placeholders — dynamic, not static

Write "Hi {{customer_name}}, your order {{order_increment}} shipped — tracking {{tracking_number}}." and the real values are inserted the instant you use it. Supported tokens include customer name/email, order number, order total, tracking number(s), store name/email/phone, the signed-in admin's name and today's date. Most "quick response" tools paste static text; ours are dynamic.

Never lose what you typed

  • Comments insert at the cursor by default — so they never wipe a note you've already started (a common flaw in older canned-comment tools). Prefer append or replace? It's a setting.
  • A template can pre-tick "Notify Customer by Email" and "Visible on Storefront" when applied — perfect for status-update notes customers should see.

A comment history you can actually read

  • The order's comment history is rendered as a tidy table: Date, Time, Status, Customer, Updated By and Comment.
  • The Updated By column records which admin user added each entry — something Magento doesn't track out of the box.
  • Status badges are colour-coded (reusing your ModKor Order Status colours when installed), with click-to-sort by date.
